Where does Ziami Manufacture garments?
All our products are manufactured in our own production sites in China by experienced tailors. Our facilities are managed to European standards. We take pride in our exemplary work environment.
Why do customers have to pay upfront?
With custom-made clothes it is standard to pay upfront. Additionally it is an integral part of our cost structure and one of the reasons we can offer you our revolutionary prices.
Can I measure myself?
Yes. Design Consultants can follow our comprehensive Ziami Measuring Guide to measure themselves, but will require assistance from a friend or family member. Do not measure yourself alone. Customers should always be measured by a Design Consultant.
What’s the delivery time?
The delivery time for a CUSTOM-MADE Ziami product is 3-5 weeks. The average delivery time for a custom-made and even inferior made-to-measure product in North American department stores is 10 weeks and beyond. And there you easily end up paying 10 times as much and more than what you pay for a Ziami product. The value Ziami provides is unmatched all the way around.
Where do the fabrics come from?
We use fabrics in part from our own weaving facilities, and in part from controlled external woven fabric suppliers. The high quality of our fabrics is common for products in far higher price ranges.
Why are the garments so cheap?
We do not sell in stores and we use our own production sites in China to keep costs low. While many big brands produce in Asia, they have to mark up the prices to make up for store distribution costs and advertising/marketing campaigns; we pass on the savings to the customer.
What is the New Customer Fee?
Yes. Your measurement will be saved in your account. So whenever you order again you do not have to put in your measurements again. However, we do recommend that you adjust the measurements in cases of weight gain/weight loss accordingly.
Will my measurements be saved?

What’s the difference between my measurements and the measurements of the finished garment?
To produce a custom-made garment, a tailor generally adds a certain percentage to the body measurement of a client based on a formula. The concept of Feeling SizeTM is based on the premise that everyone has an individual feeling of comfort when it comes to clothes. To determine one’s Feeling SizeTM is a process, and a helpful first step is to refer to our three Feeling SizeTM Guideline Fits (European, All-American and American Business) when ordering your first product. Until you determine your perfect Feeling SizeTM, the need for minor alteration of your Ziami garment is not out of the question.
Are there any care instructions for the garments?
Yes. We recommend you dry-clean all of our garments. You can also wash shirts warm in permanent press mode.
When can I return a garment?
Due to the fact that every product is individually handcrafted just for you, WE DO NOT accept returns for any reason. Only this way we can afford to offer you our revolutionary prices. To determine one’s Feeling SizeTM is a process. The first time you order any custom-made product there is always a chance that you might not be 100% satisfied. The need for minor alteration of the product is not out of the question. If that is the case, adjust your measurement accordingly to achieve your Feeling SizeTM with the next item you order.
Are there any care instructions for the garments?

Will the garments shrink?
All cottons may shrink a bit. However, we recommend that you DO NOT adjust your measurements, because shrinkage is minimal and we do incorporate it into our calculations.
Can I get my initials on the garment?
Your initials are automatically added to your garment, you have the option of choosing where you want them. Personalization is at the core of what we do, and we supply it at NO ADDITIONAL COST to you.
Can I cancel my order once it is placed?
No. Our ordering system is internet based. Once you place your order online, it appears in the system in China, where it is processed immediately.
Can I recommend Ziami to my friends?
Absolutely. Actually, it will automatically happen once your friends start complimenting you on your Ziami wardrobe. We’ll make you look great!
